January 4, 2012 A New Year, Brings New Opportunities!
After 3 ½ years of being privileged to be of service to the Miracle League of Arizona, I have decided it is time to retire. While some family and health issues have entered into this decision, I am pleased to know that MLAZ is in the best position it has ever experienced, and it is appropriate time for transition.
My medical conditions, while not all that serious, still need to be managed and with rest, reduced stress, I am confident all will be well. As my doctor insists.."Time to slow down!"
I take great comfort in the fact that our dream of building the finest of special needs ballparks has become a reality. Players continue to enroll, and MLAZ is on the brink of building an adaptive playground that will expand the services we already offer.
These past years have been full of Miracles. I sincerely thank all who shared this incredible journey with me.
The Board will begin its search for a new Executive Director this January. And always remember...The Miracle League of Arizona's motto.."Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Play Baseball"
And we made that happen!
Warmest Regards,
Dan Haren Sr.

The Miracle League of Arizona will forever cherish the memory of great human being. Harmon Killebrew was a huge supporter of the Miracle League of Arizona. We would not have been able to build this field of dreams without his support. His legacy will live on through our kids who take the field to play ball on our special field.

October 1, 2008 We're working our way to "Play Ball".....
Miracle League of Arizona has it's sight set for players to take the field and hear the immortal words "Play Ball" in the later part of 2009. During that time the Board will be working with Individuals, Corporations, Foundations, School Districts, Cities and the National Miracle League office to secure the necessary land, funding & support that will have our kids putting on their uniforms and getting ready for that long awaited "first pitch ".
